Hi there!
I'm Tiffany, I'm a Flight Attendant for the best airline ever. I'm 27 and I've never been happier.
I have lived a pretty great life and there hasn't been much that I've wanted that I haven't gotten. my parents have made sure that I've had everything I needed to succeed and when it was time for me to be on my own the made sure they had taught me the tools and skills I needed to make it on my own. With that being said I was used to getting what I wanted whether it was a job, clothes or that super hot guy.
When I graduated high school I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life. i took a year off and worked at my favorite coffee stand until I could figure out what to do. I decided to become a medical assistant and went to college, finished the program, and ended up working in a private oncology practice. Fast forward a few years and I decided to apply with Delta Air Lines and Alaska Airlines. I went through the hiring process with Delta and flew to Atlanta to finish the interview process with a face to face. I was not offered the job and was a little bit upset, but I didn't let it bother me. A few months later I interview with Alaska Airlines and wasn't offered a job with them either. I was slightly crushed at this point. I knew I wanted to travel more but I didn't have the means or the availability to get that much time off work. I took it with a grain of salt and moved forward with my life. I moved to the city and got hired at a bigger physician's office and life was going to be perfect. well that wasn't quite true. I loved living in the city but I hated my job. I saw that Delta was hiring again and thought "hmmmm, I think I better try again. What do I have to lose?" So I applied again and it felt like it took forever to hear ANYTHING! I went on an 11 day European vacation with one of my best friends. I remember thinking on the flight back to the United States, "I have to do whatever I can to get hired with Delta." Well a week later I was once again offered a trip to Atlanta to interview in person. this time was a little bit different.. why? Because, I GOT THE JOB! I was going to be a Delta flight attendant! I was on cloud 9! I couldn't wait to call my mom and tell her the good news.
I got back home and couldn't wait to start my training. I didn't even have a training date yet! The next few months felt like they drug on FOREVERRRR! I finally got notice that my background check had cleared, my training date had been finalized and I could quit my job. BEST. NEWS, EVER! I decided to take about a month off between my last day at my current job and my start date, and I'm so glad that I did. Because the seven week journey to becoming a flight attendant was no freaking joke!
